DESCRIPTION:Location:  Grand Ballroom G \nWorkshop Leader: Scott Kennedy – BESSER \nLeader Bio:  \nScott owned and operated his family’s Besser-equipped pipe plant in North Carolina for over twenty years\, successfully growing the business before selling to Hanson (previously Forterra and now Rinker) in 2007. At that time\, he joined the Besser Team in a technical service capacity; first as a contractor and then as Technical Service Manager in 2017. He’s an instructor for the American Concrete Pipe Association’s Pipe School\, and for the Besser training programs held in Sioux City and in producers’ plants. In 2021 Scott was promoted to Vice President of Pipe & Precast. He leads the Team with his can-do attitude\, resourcefulness\, and vast industry knowledge.
