Let’s uncover the unsung heroes together\, contributing to the seamless functioning of our communities. \nSpeaker Bio: \nJennifer is the Central Region Engineer for the American Concrete Pipe Association.  She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Kansas and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Kansas.  As a Region Engineer with the American Concrete Pipe Association\, she assists & supports the states’ of Missouri\, Kansas\, Nebraska\, Wisconsin\, Minnesota\, Iowa\, North Dakota\, South Dakota\, Wyoming\, and Montana Department of Transportation officials\, and other public & private stakeholders in meeting their critical infrastructure needs. Jennifer’s focus is on asset management\, specification consultation\, technical training\, grassroot efforts\, and infrastructure installation best-practices for reinforced concrete pipe and boxes.  Jennifer worked in municipal government for 12 years as a Hydraulics Engineer and a Project Manager. Jennifer has more than 23 years of experience in all aspects of civil engineering\, project planning and management.  Her expertise in asset management and municipal planning includes research and analysis\, budgeting\, contract management\, specification writing\, QA/QC\, inspection\, construction\, operation and maintenance of infrastructure projects.  Her background encompasses work in public and private sectors as well as manufacturing.

The ACPA has developed personas for Elected Officials\, Engineers\, Contractors and Owners (i.e. DOT’s\, Cities\, public agencies).  ACPA’s broad personas will be discussed.  An example of developing a more detailed persona will be talked through to effectively use in your market. \nSpeaker Bios: \nSteve is a Technical Resource Engineer for County Materials Corporation based out of Indianapolis\, IN responsible for providing technical services for the states of Indiana\, Illinois and Missouri. County Materials is a full service producer of concrete pipe\, precast box culverts and other associated concrete products. \nHe’s actively involved in the concrete industry for over 40 years in marketing and production precast pipe\, box culverts and 3-sided bridge systems. \nSteve has held leadership positions in the Illinois Concrete Pipe Association\, Board member of National Precast Concrete Association\, founding member of the Derby City Chapter-ASHE and currently Indiana State Director of IKO Concrete Pipe Association. \nMarried to Martha\, a real estate broker\, they have 2 grown sons\, Patrick and Andrew\, who have blessed them with a granddaughter\, Journey\, and grandson\, Oliver. \n  \nJohn Susong has been with Rinker Materials for 24 years\, holding roles as a technical resource engineer\, account manager\, sales manager and general manager. Currently\, John is the Northeast Region Product Resources Manager for Rinker Materials. John is involved with the American Concrete Pipe Association as Vice Chair of the Government Relations Committee\, working to advance the ACPA’s interests with the U.S. Congress and state legislatures. \nJohn is a graduate of Purdue University\, B.S.
