Learn about the importance\, and purpose\, of moisture and temperature in the curing process\, as well as ways to make curing more effective. \nSpeaker Bio: \nDan has designed\, sold\, installed and fixed concrete curing systems for the last 24 years. He has worked for Afinitas for the last 5 years and Johnson Gas Appliance Company for the 19 years before that. Dan worked with Mel C Marshall on curing systems in Canada for most of his concrete curing career. Dan has been married for 32 years and has a daughter still at university and another daughter has graduated. His passion is traveling and teaching others about curing concrete products.

(WJE) since 1988. He first became involved with industry-specific quality programs in 1991\, helping develop quality programs for several industry associations. He was involved with the original development of the ACPA QCast Program in 1998 and manages the team of trained WJE auditors that perform the plant audits for conformance to the QCast requirements. The passion and knowledge that Paul and the WJE auditors bring to the QCast program helps the industry improve quality and to “raise the bar”. Prior to joining WJE\, Paul worked for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) providing a state agency perspective.

Rich is an active member of ACPA’s Manufacturing/Quality\, Education\, and Research Committees; as well as Vice Chair on ASTM’s C-13 Committee. Test procedures for water tightness (air\, vacuum\, and hydrostatic)\, Off-Center Joint test and Joint Shear tests\, and the gasketed Storm Sewer joint test will be discussed. \nSpeaker Bio: \nMark Taylor is a Region Quality Manager for Rinker Materials and is based in Alexandria\, LA. He began working for Rinker Materials in May 2002 as Safety Coordinator and Quality Control Coordinator at the Alexandria Pipe plant. He has been in his current role as Region Quality Manager since March 2013. Background includes being a Project Manager for PTTC and TACON companies for fifteen years on marine construction projects on the Inland Waterways of the United States and on coastal erosion protection along the Gulf coast.
