Health Protocols for Pipe School 2022
The ACPA is committed to making your health and safety a top priority at this year’s Pipe School. As part of this commitment, we are taking precautions and proactive steps and are asking all attendees to participate in supporting a safe and comfortable experience. While at Pipe School, everyone in attendance, including members, guests, and staff, are expected to comply with our health and safety requirements.
Liability release statement
- The ACPA is requiring all attendees at the 2022 Pipe School to sign a liability release form before arriving at Pipe School or during the in-person check-in process. The ACPA will send out the liability release document the week before Pipe School to fill out. Those who do not fill it out beforehand will have to sign it in-person before being allowed to enter Pipe School.

Vaccinations & COVID tests
- Pipe Show 2022 attendees are not required to be vaccinated although it is highly suggested before attending. COVID vaccination locations can be found on the Vaccines.gov website.
- If you are not vaccinated, it is not required but also highly suggested to take a COVID test within 24-48 hours of your arrival to Pipe School. COVID-19 tests are available at no cost nationwide at health centers and select pharmacies and can be found on the hhs.gov website.
Best practices for attendees
Throughout the duration of the Pipe Show, attendees are encouraged to practice recommended best practices:
- Wear a mask when and where possible.
- Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day.
NOTE: Masks and hand sanitizer will be available for attendees at registration and throughout the show. - Social distancing is recommended.
- Cover coughs and sneezes with a cloth, tissue, or mask.
- Monitor your health; if you are feeling ill or have any signs of COVID, please remove yourself from the general audience and take a COVID test.
State & Local Requirements
- The ACPA will be follow Texas’s state and local guidelines up to and throughout the show to ensure compliance for all attendees
- Follow the most up-to-date guidelines from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
Notice of Attendee Liability and Assumption of Risk
The ACPA is excited to welcome you as an attendee to Pipe School 2022. As an attendee at the event, you agree and assume all risks and responsibilities for any injury, illness, damage or loss that may result from your attendance. Specifically regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendees acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure or infection by attending the ACPA event, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability and/or death to attendee. Attendees understand that the risk of becoming exposed or infected by COVID-19 at the ACPA event may result from the actions, omissions or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues or others with whom they have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that by attending the event, attendees releases any claims based on the actions, omissions or negligence of ACPA executives, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs during or after participation in the ACPA event.
In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at Pipe School 2022, each attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by ACPA, the meeting venue and any state, local or federal jurisdictions, including, but not limited to the strong recommendation that all attendees wear masks and maintain social distancing requirements.
