Technical Tracks
The Technical Track will run from February 1st-3rd and consists of three, live half days of presentations, engagement, and a virtual tour. Participants can choose which classes they will take from the Transportation, Sales & Engineering, and Train-the-Trainer tracks.
Transportation Track
The Transportation Track provides a forum for DOT and local agency professionals from across the country to collaborate, sharing best practices and innovations that stretch their budgets while taking care of their citizens’ transportation needs. This year’s Transportation Track is just as exciting as in past years. Topics include research, asset management, resiliency, innovation, accelerated bridge construction, bridge inspection – underwater, revisions/standards. Transportation professionals from several State DOTs and local agencies will share their success stories and best practices.
Sales & Engineering Track
This combined track brings our industry’s sales, technical marketing and engineering personnel together for a collaborative experience that will challenge everyone’s comfort zone. Take a moment and learn something new, whether you are a design engineer being exposed to effective technical marketing techniques or a salesperson learning an engineer design technique that can be used during your next sales call.
Train-the-Trainer Track
It’s one thing listening to an instructor deliver a presentation. It’s a totally different experience when the instructor teaches the students how to deliver the topic. Curriculum development professionals are working overtime reshaping several of our industry’s top presentations, crafting instructor manuals and creating recordings for the students. These new tools will provide our industry’s sales, production, marketing and engineer personnel with the proper tools to deliver more presentations in their market. Every attendee walks away with a new presentation, an instructor manual for every class attended and a better understanding on how to effectively deliver the class.
Production Tracks
The Product Track is for ACPA members only and will be available on-demand throughout the month of February. Members are encouraged to set up training sessions within their plants to optimize the learning environment.
Production Tracks
The tracks are broken down into Basic Production, Advanced Production, and Quality. Tracks take the best practices across the industry are taught by subject matter experts ensuring that students are receiving the highest level of quality instructions. This year, all production classes are being offered on-demand and available throughout the month of February. Production plants are encouraged to show the classes in a group setting to encourage a higher level of interaction and engagement for the students.
NOTE: Production tracks are for ACPA Members only.
