Technical Track Schedule

The Technical Tracks are pre-recorded and will be available for registrants throughout the month of February and can taken at a time of the student’s choosing.  The ACPA strongly recommends that plant personnel take the classes together and should be coordinated through a designated Plant Training Facilitator.  More information provided on the ACPA Member Registration Page.

Students who take the Production Tracks will learning everything from raw materials to finished product and process improvements.  Classes emphasize proper production procedures including safety, quality, operations and personal management skills. Industry best practices on safety and quality improvement will also be covered.

Special machinery workshops will be covered by industry partners and Diamond Sponsors, Affinitas (formerly HawkeyPedershaab) and Besser. Students will also have a chance to learn about industry products and processes from associate members and sponsors as through videos that are embedded into the training classes.

Additionally, scheduled live panels of experts will be available to provide answers to any questions throughout the month. These sessions will be recorded and shared with all registered plants. Specific details of the training classes will be provided at a later date.

Below is a description of the different classes available during the Production School Tracks.

About Our Virtual School

Pipe School is the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA)’s annual event where members, DOTs, consulting engineers, subject matter experts, and other industry personnel get together to discuss, learn, and engage with one another.  The school advances the industry by teaching classes on production, advanced production, and quality, while engaging with industry stakeholders to ensure that they are provided with information vital to their decision making process.  Keeping the safety of the participants at the forefront, the 2021 Pipe School will move to a virtual platform, but promises to provide as engaging of presentations and allowing for more participants than ever before.
