Many organizations are missing huge opportunities to improve efficiencies and return on investment due to lack of understanding asset management programs. Asset management programs are more than a condition assessment and capital improvement project plan. Fully developed asset management programs align organizational resources to improve delivery of services and reach organizational goals. Comprehensive programs can be complex, but don’t have to be – the best programs are one’s that an organization can implement and maintain.
This session will help you understand how to start an asset management program and improve the program over time. Attendees will learn the key components of an asset management program bases on International Standards Organization (ISO) – 55001 Asset Management – Management Systems – Requirements, including asset management plans, alignment with operations and larger organization goals. At conclusion of training attendees will understand key components of an asset management program, techniques to implement the components within their organization.
Speaker Bio
Jason is a Senior Project Manager for JEO Consulting Group in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a transformative leader with 25 years of experience in government administration, project management, and infrastructure innovation with an emphasis on creating value, strengthening communities, and leading with a purpose. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech, a Master’s degree in City Planning from Clemson University, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Georgia. He has a passion for building infrastructure that started as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa.
