This presentation will give a brief overview of the organization, ASTM International. It will then explain the standards development process. After that, it will detail the structure of committee C13 on Concrete Pipe. The remainder of the presentation will focus on your participation: the importance of all interests (producers, users, and general interest) participating, benefits of participation, and the tools ASTM has developed to facilitate your participation.
Speaker Bio
Jimmy Farrell is a Technical Committees Manager at ASTM International. He is responsible for 7 different technical committees in multiple industry sectors including the two packaging committees in ASTM. He also is in charge of maintaining and updating a number of the tools used by ASTM’s membership.
