Speaker Bios:
Tom worked in production for 30 years. He has continued in the industry until today as a teacher, consultant, and salesman. Currently working as an independent consultant. Tom has been involved with the ACPA Short Course Schools since 1995 as a committee member and Task Group chairman of the Production school.
His family consists of Kathy, his wife of 38 years and his daughter Ashlyn and son Anton. Ashlyn is married to Travis, and they have a 10 year old son, Brody. Passions are Coaching Baseball, fishing, and teaching others about vibration and how it effects concrete production.
Larry has worked for Northern Concrete Pipe in Bay City, Michigan since 2012. Larry joined the quality team with Rich Brewster in 2015. They focus on safely producing the highest quality pre-cast products. Larry started his career in dry cast pipe production and has also worked on pre-cast, box culvert, bridge, and wet cast pipe production.
Larry started teaching at Pipe School in 2022, where he teaches Advanced Box Culvert and Pipe Production with Tom Umek. Larry earned his production journeyman status in 2023. Larry has a passion for teaching others and learning.
In his free time Larry enjoys spending time with his wife and five children (two of which are in laws), gaming, and collecting collectable card games.
