Speaker Bio
Over the past 26 years, Jenica has worked in several positions within the Nevada Department of Transportation, many of which have included leadership and supervisory responsibilities. She held the Assistant Chief of Project Management position for 3 years, and has more than 10 years’ experience in the Project Management Division. While Assistant Chief of Project Management, she effectively managed a team of 7 Project Managers who delivered quality projects. Jenica valued her team and kept morale high despite a challenging working environment. She successfully recruited and retained top talent for open positions and was the “go to” person for other Divisions and outside agencies when issues arose.
Throughout her career, she has formed and maintained positive relationships with professionals both inside and outside the Department and has also proven to continually make intelligent decisions. Jenica is well known for getting the job done. She possess strong communication, people, coaching, coordination and organization skills.
