Turner Diagonal Interchange Project in Kansas City, KS

Presentation Description:
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s Turner Diagonal: Partnering for Growth project in Kansas City brought together public and private partners to re-imagine a decades-old interchange in order to improve safety, reduce congestion, promote development, and provide better access to public transit. This presentation will tell the story of how the team leveraged the power of partnership to deliver this multiple award-winning project on an accelerated schedule.

Bio
Jason started with KDOT in 2004 as an Engineering Associate in the Hays Area Construction Office. During his KDOT career he as held served in various positions including Lawrence Area Construction Engineer, Statewide Stormwater Compliance Engineer, Kansas City North Metro Engineer, and is currently Assistant Chief of Construction in KDOT’s Bureau of Construction and Materials. Jason is a graduate of the University of Kansas and served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer prior to beginning his professional career.
