Presentation Description
With the growing importance, specification and inspection of watertight concrete pipe projects, having a good understanding of the various joint designs, gaskets, test procedures, and installation steps is important for pipe producers, contractors, inspectors and engineers. The purpose of this session is to provide attendees with improved understanding of all these factors so they can apply to them to their next project.
Speaker Bio
Alan Siebenthaler
Alan Siebenthaler graduated in 1996 from the University of Dayton with degrees in Marketing and Finance. Upon graduation, he became involved in sales and marketing in the precast concrete and concrete pipe industry and has remained there ever since.
Alan has been a territory manager for Hamilton Kent since 2006, and has recently become their US Sales Manager. He has worked with numerous companies and plant locations over the past 15 years regarding joint forming equipment, joint design and quality assurance, and gasket selection.
