Description: Concrete pipe allows for thicker lifts above the springline. This can reduce embedment labor time by approximately up to 20%. Less time in an open trench – a critical work zone – improves safety. The engineering fundamentals and national standards for concrete pipe allow for more installation efficiency than flexible pipes in terms of lift placement, compaction, and soil types.
