Presentation Description
As a low-lying state, water is an area of great concern for Delaware. How our infrastructure is impacted has a significant effect on the mobility of goods, products, and services for the commuters in the state. DelDOT has created a new Division of Transportation Resiliency & Sustainability to specifically address these areas of concern. Working in partnership with other key stakeholders, this new Division is envisioned to assist in the project and program development and delivery of a resilient and sustainable infrastructure to the benefit of those utilizing the transportation network throughout the state. This presentation will show the areas of concern, how the Department has addressed these concerns in the past, and how we plan to address them in the future.

Speaker Bio
Received Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability from Wilmington University. Worked for Delaware Department of Transportation for over 29 years. Majority of the time was in pavement and materials engineering then as Assistant Director of Performance Management, Deputy Director of Operations and Support, and current role as Division Director of newly formed Division of Transportation Resiliency & Sustainability
