Presentation Description
This presentation is about a case study of a successful application of a Precast Culvert for the State of Alabama. The use of a precast culvert and cooperation between the owner, contractor, and fabricator proved to make the project progress rapidly allowing minimal road closure time.

Speaker Bio
Brad Williams, is currently the State Bridge Construction Engineer for the Alabama   Department of Transportation with over 17 years of experience, specializing in bridge construction management for bridges throughout the State. Mr. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree of Civil Engineering from Auburn University. Mr. Williams currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Alabama Army National Guard with over 25 years of experience.  He is a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot with over 2,100 total flight hours and over 650 combat flight hours. His deployment history includes Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-08 and Operation New Dawn, Iraq 2011. His awards include Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Master Army Aviator Badge and Basic Parachutist Badge. Mr. Williams currently resides in Montgomery, AL with his wife LeeAnn, daughter Madison, and son Mason.
