Plant equipment plays a critical role in product quality. Understanding its proper operation, maintenance, capabilities, and limitations is paramount to consistently producing high quality concrete products.
Speaker Bio
Scott owned and operated his family’s Besser-equipped pipe plant in North Carolina for over twenty years, successfully growing the business before selling to Hanson (now Forterra) in 2007. At that time, he joined the Besser Team in a technical service capacity; first as a contractor and then as Technical Service Manager in 2017. He’s an instructor for the American Concrete Pipe Association’s Pipe School, and for the Besser training programs held in Sioux City and in producers’ plants.
In his role as VP, Scott leads the Pipe and Precast Team with his can-do attitude, resourcefulness, and intimate industry knowledge.
