The presentation will provide you, as the contractor, manufacturer, or owner, with some tools to better understand what makes a sound “sealing system.” With a better understanding of different terminology used in the industry, different types of joints, and different gasket types, a sense of general tolerances of the “system” and governing specifications and how they are applied theoretically and empirically to joints in various installed conditions.
