This presentation will take a practical look at specifications for reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) joints, primarily focused on storm water applications. We will take 30,000-foot view of RCP joint specifications and how they should be utilized for specific projects. Additionally, we will review a sample specification, pointing out specific areas impacting the type of RCP joint for the project. Finally, we will identify some caveats to consider when developing your next specification.
Speaker Bio
Larry is a sales manager at Pretech Corporation. He has a degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s in Engineering Management for the University of Kansas. He’s been married to his beautiful wife for 35 years. He has two awesome daughters, one son-in-law and one future son-in-law. Larry’s pride and joy is his amazing grandchildren, Mason and Lyla. In his free time, he enjoys being a sport junky.
