Speaker Bio:
Jeff De Vries is the Testing Engineer for the Iowa Department of Transportation. Jeff has been with the Iowa DOT for roughly 15 years and has served as the Testing Engineer for roughly 4 years. Prior to serving as the Testing Engineer, he served as the District 1 Materials Engineer. District 1 works directly with 6 (Rinker, Midstates and I-80) precast plants, and one (Rinker) prestress plant. Jeff obtained his BS in Civil Engineering from Iowa State and his MS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structures from Kansas State. Jeff is a licensed engineer in the state of Iowa. When Jeff has free time, he enjoys spending time with his family including 3 grandchildren. Jeff also enjoys spending time outdoors
